Neurodiagnostic Testing

Neurodiagnostic patient Neurodiagnostic testing is an integral part of diagnosing conditions such as epilepsy and seizure disorders, carpal tunnel syndrome and other neuropathies. Lexington Neurosciences Center offers the convenience of in-office NCV/EMG and EEG testing for our patients and referring providers. Testing is performed by registered technologists and Board-certified physicians, with results provided to the patient and/or faxed to the referring provider the same day.

NCV/EMG testing is a procedure to measure activity in the nerves and muscles. It is an important tool in the diagnosis and treatment of nerve and muscle injuries and diseases, such as neuropathy and carpal tunnel syndrome.

EEGs measure brain waves and are a necessary tool in the diagnosis and management of seizure disorders. They are beneficial in helping physicians determine possible reasons for fainting or confusion, and are instrumental in the diagnosis of epilepsy.
