Our Physicians

Maria A. Pavez, MD

Dr. Maria Pavez graduated from Cayetano Heredia University in Lima, Peru. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine and residency in neurology at the University of Kentucky, as well as a fellowship in electromyography. Dr. Pavez is board-certified in neurology and sleep medicine, with a special interest in sleep disordered breathing. In addition to evaluation and management services, she offers expertise in EEGs, NCV/EMGs and polysomnography.

Jalil Shojaei, MD

Dr. Jalil Shojaei obtained his medical degree at Spartan Health Sciences University in the West Indies. He completed his internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Pennsylvania and his residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University. He is board-certified in neurology and sleep medicine, and has a special interest in seizure disorders and sleep medicine. His services include adult and child evaluations, as well as EEGs, NCV/EMGs and polysomnography.
